History and Technical Evolution
Over 30 Years of Innovation
Birth and Roots – 1994 – 2002: SIST Service was founded in Catania in 1994 by Orazio Aiola and Rosario Scandura, united by a strong friendship and a shared vision of technological progress. The company immediately launched specialized computer-aided design (CAD) and advanced technical graphics services, laying the foundation for the company's evolution in the years to come. This was a period of rapid evolution: from the first digital cartography, we moved on to graphics applied to geology and environmental impact assessments (EIA), consolidating our unique expertise in the creation of photorealistic renderings for civil and industrial architecture. One of the first service providers equipped for large-format printing and scanning.
Expansion and Structure – 2002 – 2017: Il successo e la crescita ci portano, nel 2002, all'acquisizione della nuova sede operativa a Tremestieri Etneo. In questi anni l’azienda compie un importante salto di qualità trasformandosi in S.r.l., arrivando a contare un team composto da due manager, due commerciali, due tecnici e numerose collaborazioni esterne d'eccellenza. Questa fase strutturata ci ha permesso di gestire progetti complessi su larga scala, diventando un punto di riferimento per il territorio.

The professional career of Orazio Aiola, co-founder and owner of SIST Service, began in 1980 as a surveyor, working in the early years in the technical-construction field, including surveys, operational planning, document management, and activities typical of technical professions.
Over the years, his field experience has naturally evolved into multidisciplinary technical consultancy, integrating expertise in construction, safety, industry, quality, and document processes.
In 2008, he completed his education with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, building a comprehensive technical profile, combining design vision, operational capability, and regulatory expertise.
At the same time, his professional activity expanded into the digitalization of business processes, leading to the establishment of SIST Service S.r.l., with the goal of developing customized software solutions and advanced document systems for complex companies and organizations.
After years of operating nationwide, Orazio chose to make a new strategic evolution: returning to the Catania office and focusing on direct, personalized, and high-profile consulting.
A conscious choice, driven by the belief that today's technological complexity requires a personalized approach, built on the real operational needs of clients rather than standardized solutions.
Today, the owner embodies a unique journey: technician, designer, consultant, and digitalizer, capable of integrating traditional skills and innovative tools to support companies and professionals in the digital transformation of their processes.
